Arch Viz
My first approach with Arch Viz (short for Architectural Visualization) happens during my Bachelor studies in Architecture, when I got deeply involved in the visual representation of my own architectural projects. This led me to develope an interest in the topic, analytically explored in my Bachelor thesis “Representing architecture today. The project communication seen by contemporary architects”. As a consequence, the following step has been moving into the Design field.
The final results of three of my projects are presented below. They have some differences in style according to their specific purpose. The material is sorted both by project and by typology of the drawing.

A new life for Sulmona’s station
The project works on the abandoned area of the Sulmona-Introdacqua station through the design of three new buildings and the reuse of the two existing ones (the station itself and an ex storage). The main function for the new buildings is to get both turists and citizens again in touch with the local craft traditions. The design of the masterplan relies upon a series of lines that guide the buildings’ directions toward the focal points in the surrounding cities. Those cities are also involved in a slow mobility net that aims to the recovery of the territory by making it accessible again for everyone.

Talking through lines
The church of dialogue
Starting from the concepts of worship and socialization and their relationship, the project aims to the requalification of the area in Piola, Milan, through the building of a new church and parish complex in place of the old ones. The area has been cut in two parts to ease the connection between Città Studi and the underground stop in Piazza Piola. On the left side of this new path there is the worship part of the project; on the right side there is the building that hosts the functions related to the socialization. The key of dialogue between the two concepts, expressed in the two different buildings, is the shared space between and below them, where socialization and worship, separated at first, can be connected.

The project addresses to the needs of users that wants to be part of this experience for some hours, days or even weeks, providing them with the working and living facilities that they need for the chosen time.
